On 30th September, Photo Group 1 will be visiting Mere Sands Wood Nature Reserve , near Rufford.
The original objective of this field trip was to look for (and hopefully capture) some Autumn colour, but there are plenty of other things to photograph at Mere Sands Wood.
The group will be meeting in the afternoon, so with a little luck will be treated to some late afternoon Autumn light (not to mention coffee and cake in the visitor centre cafe if it is open).
