A full coach load of members from Out&About visited the Jodrell Bank Observatory this month. There was a welcome to the Lovell telescope show at 1135 which I think most of us attended and then the show we paid for at 1200. both were interesting informing us how the world and humans came about.
Then most visited the actual Lovell telescope, a very impressive 30000 ton structure that was built with no planning permission, doubt it would get built today!
Well worth the visit
