How long we retain your data
When users subscribe to our Daily Digest, their email address and name are stored for the purpose of sending out the email notifications. That information is not used for any other purposes and is removed if the user subsequently unsubscribes.
Data for Southport u3a members will be stored in our membership database, to allow management of that person’s membership. This includes allowing the member access to groups and events, plus the ongoing management of their membership status.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
If you are a Southport u3a member, your member profile is stored in the Simple Membership database.
