On the 2-Feb-2024 WG4 started the February walks with a trip to Dunham Massey NT, in sunny weather, to catch the Snowdrops in the garden.
We started the walk at the Trans Pennine trail by Dunham Woodhouses village, then along the Bridgewater canal into the Golf course before crossing to Dunham Massey estate. We kept our eyes open for the deer, but only observed one up close !
After the walk we went into the Stables Restaurant for a drink , but the place was packed and there was no room at the inn! So we carried on and stopped at the lovely ‘Rope and Anchor‘ pub for refreshments
Then home after a lovely walk
