A spare place is now available for non-Gardening Group U3A members to apply to book for , on our Gardening Group trip on Tuesday, 14 May 2024 to the multi-award winning ‘Dorothy Clive Garden’, a beautiful 12-acres garden, set in glorious countryside on the North Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire borders.
The ‘Dorothy Clive Garden’ was chosen as one of the ‘Top Ten Woodland Gardens’ in 2015 by the Vice-President of the Royal Horticultural Society. Highlights include notable collections of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias; a waterfall garden; a hillside garden, rose garden and seasonal borders.
There are picnic areas and a Tearoom which has won the Tourism and Good Food Silver Award. The Cost is £29 per person ( including admission, guided garden tour and coach travel (excluding driver’s tip).
