Despite the miserable weather there was a good turnout for the December meeting, aka the Gardening Group Christmas Party. Members brought some beautiful Christmas floral arrangements for our annual competition, pictured here are the three lucky winners.
Peter Woodroffe entertained us with some jolly Christmas poems and some excruciating jokes which had us rolling in the aisles!
We had a Quiz, also written by Peter and very challenging, pictured here is the clever winner Sue Robinson who won an amazing ceramic toadstool house with gnome, a fabulous centre piece for any garden.
We had the hand over to the new Group Committee, this jolly trio relinquishing all responsibility, as you can see it was a poignant occasion after nine years of running the group so magnificently.
Finally, we had a scrumptious feast of Christmas goodies brought by the members. Merry Christmas everyone, look forward to seeing you all in 2022.
