During our September monthly meeting, at Christ Church, our speaker was Ian Gibson of North West Air Ambulance (NWAA). Following his talk, members of the audience asked about the ways in which they could make donations to the charity, which receives no government or NHS funding.
Acting upon our members’ wishes, an envelope was placed by the exit so that voluntary donations could be made by those who wished to do so.
We have since heard from Ian Gibson, that a grand total of £296.79 was donated by our members. Ian has asked that we pass on his thanks and the gratitude of NWAA.
