|Local History Group – Ellesmere Port Boat Museum Trip|
A new visit to the National Waterways Museum of Great Britain at Ellesmere Port (popularly known as the ‘Boat Museum’). The trip is by coach on Wednesday, 27 July 2022 . We are initially just advertising this trip to our Local History Group members.
The cost for members joining this trip is £25 per person. The ticket price includes: admission; tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival; an introductory talk by a museum guide about the history of canals and Ellesmere Port; a self-guided tour of the museum, coach travel and tip for the driver).
The coach will be departing from the coach stop on Eastbank Street near the Atkinson Centre and old Southport Tourist office building . Departure time : 09:15 hours, return to Southport 17.30 hours approx.
