Every year, Southport holds the biggest vehicle light parade in the North West. The convoy slowly makes its way along the streets in and around Southport, providing great entertainment for everybody who turns up to watch (though not necessarily for those drivers caught up unwittingly in the parade).
The purpose of the light parade is to collect toys for donation to children’s charities.
Last night I was fortunate enough to be around as the parade passed my front door, so grabbed my camera and took a large number of photos. I have selected a handful to show here and you can find more on the parade’s Facebook page.
