On the 13th October a group of 16 arrived at Speke Hall at about 7:00pm for an evening of spooky stories about past residents of Speke Hall. We were treated to a meal of Scouse or Chilli followed by a spooky shortbread with tea/coffees.
We were escorted through the dark to the hall about 8:00pm, where we met our guide the “Lady in Black”. The ghosts were quite quiet that evening with little announcements of their presence. Brian Mitchell asked the “Lady in Black” for quiet in one room as he could see and hear some men talking about having a painting done of a lady playing billiards.
We left just before 10:00pm
