Southport u3a OYCZ group recently held yet another very successful workshop. Today it was ‘mixed media’.
We used a base of acrylic, collage and plaster. Some of us went on to use pastels or string. The collage consisted of scraps of coloured paper with some texture and some pages of either pictures or text from magazines.
The first main painting was of a Welsh waterfall. 4 of us went on to do a seascape.
The painting on its own is Peter Owen’s example of what we were aiming for. The collection of 9 was our paintings
