Walking Group 5 had its inaugral walk yesterday (Fri 1st Sept) around the Rivington & Anglezarke Reservoirs and Terraced gardens of Lever Park. Just over 6 miles in glorious weather that seemed to defy all the forcasts.
And as always our efforts were rewarded by a cafe stop at the end, this time in ‘The Rivington’ – a Bowling club and Cafe with spectacular views over the Reservoirs.
