Thursday 20th January, on what was a gloriously sunny day, saw 21 members of Walking Group 4 take a 6 mile fairly flat walk around Yarrow Valley Country Park near Chorley.
It can be a bit muddy in places, this walk, but overnight frost had very kindly frozen over the worst areas making it fairly firm under foot.
The day was rounded off with hot refreshments at the excellent nearby Birkacre Garden centre. Big thanks to Clare and David Lee for organising and leading an excellent walk.
