The Photography group meeting this month was all sweetness and light, even more so than normal!
Our monthly theme was confectionery and the members certainly made the most of it, with cakes and sweets in abundance. They claimed not to have eaten too many of the props, but some were looking decidely hyper! You can see the results in our monthly gallery here.
After reviewing the theme and the new entries in our Favourites gallery, we had a talk from Ian Homewood, about using Studio Lighting. This was in preparation for our January meetings, during which we will be having a studio portrait workshop in addition to our normal meeting.
It being December, the meeting finished in the traditional Christmas fashion with nibbles supplied by Brian and the members. Talking of Christmas fashion, there was a disappointing lack of tacky Christmas clothing on display!
The group’s theme for December is Christmas, perhaps not an obvious choice for this time of year but I’m sure the members will do their best to get into the spirit.
