Let’s Go are opening up places on a visit to the former airbase at Burtonwood near Warrington, where there is now a Heritage Centre dedicated to the era when this was the primary entrance point for the US men and materials arriving for WW2.
There are planes, vehicles, displays of how people lived, and other paraphernalia of the time.
A private tour of Burtonwood Air Base, costing a maximum of £5 each ( depends on final numbers) and based on car sharing.December 1st leaving Southport just after 0900.
