I have received the following from Sylvia and Shirley, of the Let’s Go group. Although this is a Let’s Go event, there are a few spaces left for any Southport u3a members who would like to join them.
Here is a date date for your diaries Friday 25th February, it is for afternoon tea at Dobbies on Bentham Way, it has been booked for 2.30pm. if you are interested in joining this treat please join on Beacon, if the list fills up quickly please add your name to the waiting list.
The cost is £10.00 payable on the day. Traditional Afternoon Tea consists of finger sandwiches, dainty mini cakes, plain or fruit scones with jam and cream. Tea or standard coffee.
Vegetarian/Vegan option is available at no extra cost but we do need to know in advance, unfortunately they cannot cater for gluten free.
Dobbies is on the 44 bus route and there is also plenty of parking available.
