On Thursday the 12th of October a group of walkers from WG4 made their way up to Peel tower in Ramsbottom. On the day the weather was glorious and the views were lovely.
The walk started in Nuttall Hall park, then via the banks of the river Irwell up to Holcombe Moor. From there the route took them to Peel Tower and back down via the old part of Ramsbottom.
Following the walk it was off to Park farm café and garden centre for some lovely cakes and tea
