As if we didn’t already have a wide enough variety of groups, we are pleased to announce that we now also have a Croquet Group.
The new group will meet on Tuesday afternoons, between 2:00 and 4:00, at the Southport & Birkdale Croquet Club. Access to the club is on Rotten Row, opposite Beach Road.
Far from being a genteel sport, croquet can be very competitive and involve knocking your opponent’s croquet ball as far away as possible. In other words, lots of fun!
If you would like some fun exercise in the fresh air, the croquet group might be the one for you.
