The Southport Flower Show begins this week and Southport u3a members have been very busy, creating our 100th Anniversary Garden.
The gardeners, not just from the Gardening Group but right across Southport u3a, have done an incredible job to bring the dream to life. Our garden this year is a 70 foot plot, showcasing gardening throughout the decades. A fitting theme for such an important anniversary in the show’s history.
Southport u3a volunteers will be manning the garden throughout the show, to welcome everybody. Why don’t you come along and take a look at what can be achieved with willing labour.
