Although the U3A Walking Netball Group didn’t get enough regular players there is the opportunity for those still interested to play instead with an already well-established local group.
If anyone would like to reconnect with their netball skills, even if you haven’t played since primary school, then why not consider joining Southport Walking Netball Group? This is a gentler version of the game, and we always start with warm up stretches and netball exercises with our professional coach, Lynne Barnett, before we play. Sessions are held from 10:00 til 11:00 on Thursday mornings during term time at the YMCA in Houghton Street (£6 per session).
