One of our u3a members has recently lost her 16 year old Grandson, Alfie, to suicide. Members of her family are undertaking an Abseil down the side of the main building at Anfield on Saturday the 15th July in order to raise funds and awareness to help prevent other young people from finding themselves in the same situation as Alfie.
The fundraising page has been set up to make donations to an organisation called Papyrus. This organisation has been set up to try and help young people who find themselves in the same situation as our member’s grandson, to help prevent this from happening to others.
