The u3a Pickleball group is now running 5 sessions each week and have vacancies in the group membership to welcome new players.
If you have previously played racket sports such as tennis, badminton or table tennis then you will find Pickleball very easy to pick up.
If you have no racket sports experience then Pickleball is certainly a great way to start and you would quickly be able to enjoy the game.
All the sessions are played at Dunes Leisure Centre…
Monday 2pm to 4pm
Tuesday 2pm to 4pm
Thursday 4pm to 6pm
Friday 10am to noon
Friday 2pm to 4pm
We are a very friendly group and, in addition to the weekly sessions, we have pickleball festivals and regular social events.
Coaching is also available to help new players get started and to help more experienced players improve their game.
We have spare paddles (bats) for those wishing to try their hand before committing to buying their own equipment. You should wear non marking shoes to avoid damaging the courts.
