Rob Mason Entertains Local History

Local History 1 and 2 spent an enjoyable morning recently, being entertained by Rob Mason, a Lancashire folk singer.

Local tales were shared with lots of humour, reminding everyone, of the people, places and experiences that shaped our communities. These stories blended with classic songs from decades past, ones that everyone knew by heart.

The atmosphere quickly shifted from a performance to a shared experience as audience participation became the order of the day.
Beyond the fun and nostalgia the event also reinforced something important, singing really is good for our health and well-being.

The energy in the room, the smiles on people’s faces and the sense of togetherness made it clear that music continues to uplift, unite and nourish us.
It was just what we needed and we send a big thanks to Rob Mason for an enjoyable morning.
