Tai Chi

There are several Tai Chi Classes active in our U3A.

Tai Chi is an ancient form of meditative exercise which originated in China and is now practised in various forms by millions around the world to maintain and improve good health.

Tai Chi involves gentle exercise carried out at slow tempo in a flowing manner. It is considered safe for people of all ages as it does not put too much stress on muscles or joints. This means it is helpful for those suffering from arthritis or joint pain. It is a well known method for improving balance and posture as well as for memory and concentration
