On 14th August, Southport u3a members enjoyed a trip to the Lake District, including a trip on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, a boat trip from Lakeside to Bowness and a surprise visit to Barton Grange.
It is a tribute to the organisatonal skills of Derek and Anne Kershaw that we all had such a good time regardless of the British Summertime weather.
