Southport u3a member, Santa Michael Harrison had the children at Lady Green Garden Centre in raptures as he read them Christmas stories, found out if they had been naughty or nice and gave out gifts. Santa always brings joy and last Saturday was a thrilling moment for a lot of little people. It was good give something back and make the children, parents and grandparents very happy.
Over the past four years Lady Green Garden centre have loaned van loads of plants and shrubs to make our show gardens at the Southport Flower Show. We could not have created the gardens without them. So when they asked if we had a Santa to help them over the Christmas period it was lovely to give something back and everyone had a fabulous morning.
