The February theme for our photo group was wealth and you may be forgiven for thinking that the photo subjects would be very predictable.
Yes, there were some photos which you could anticipate. However, give 30 photographers a subject and you can normally guarantee you will get at least 20 different perspectives. This month was no different, as you can see in our gallery.
As well as looking through this month’s submissions, the new version of Affinity Photo was discussed. If you don’t get paid for your photography and cannot justify Adobe’s subscription model, Affinity is a very (very) good alternative. A number of our members already use it and a workshop is being held to go through some of the basics of the application.
The theme for March is ‘Hobbies and Home Made’, so look out for images of jigsaws, lego, etc.
