Large audiences saw the Southport U3A Drama group perform 22 Crumpsall Road on Saturday evening, 23rd July. They also put on a Sunday matinee; a play within a play written by cast member Dave Ballinger, produced by Angela Pitchers and directed by co-directors Ceila Timmington & Peter Hoyle.
Both performances were well attended and audiences enjoyed a good laugh.
The play spanned 4 decades of the different residents living in Crumpsall Road between 1943 and 1973.
