One of Southport u3a Photo Group 1 members, Steve Birchall, has recently done very well in the Formby Photo Group monthly competition. In the theme ‘Still Life’, Steve managed a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place (not with the same photo) 1st class photography indeed.
The photos can be seen on this page and I’m sure you will agree that the results are richly deserved.
I would just like to say he learned everything he knows from attending the Photo 1 meetings. I would like to say it, but it isn’t strictly true, we just showed him which way up to hold the camera.
Well done Steve – onwards and upwards.
