Photo group 1 recently had a very enjoyable and successful visit to Chester. Finding a gap in the weather, we were treated to bright blue skies and temperatures above zero!
A roughly circular walk took us via Grosvenor Park, the pedestrial suspension bridge, the weir on the Dee, to the Ship Inn, where a very good value lunch was enjoyed by all. After lunch we took to the walls and ended the day in the cathedral, before wandering back for the train.
For certain members, photography wasn’t enough and the call of FatFace and White Stuff was too much to resist, but plenty of photographs were taken and you can see the gallery here.
