There is a visit of the magnificent LNER Class A3 “Flying Scotsman” to the East Lancashire Railway in March
This record-breaking engine is celebrating 100 years since she entered service, including a visit to the East Lancashire Railway in Bury where she will be running services as well being on static display.
A small group from Lets Go are visiting Heywood Station to see the Static Display.
The tour is at 14.30 on Friday 10th March. The ticket cost is £13.25 Please Note : Heywood Station is an outdoor venue.
This would be a car sharing event with a slightly over 1 hour travel time each way, and 30 minutes visiting the Flying Scotsman. (£6 /person, if 4 in car)
Some people may wish to visit Bury Market while in the area
