Alison and Malcolm are organising a Let’s Go trip on Wednesday 31st August to New Brighton to play ‘Adventure Golf.’ No golfing experience is necessary! The golfing is described as ‘fun for all the family.’
Travel will be by train to New Brighton soon after 9.30am. There is a 10-minute stroll down a fairly steep hill towards the promenade to the golf experience.
There are two courses, one based on local and seaside amenities, the other on international golf course tricky holes. The cost per person is £7.50 to play either course, £12.50 for both, payable on the day.
After the golf, we will walk back into the centre (10-15 minute stroll) along the promenade for lunch.
Following lunch, there’s plenty to see in New Brighton, with the options of visiting the quirky Fort Perch Rock museum, the Mermaid trail with six mermaids to see and the story of The Black Rock Mermaid told in instalments at each stop, the Black Pearl pirate ship installation to be viewed – and explored – via Magazines Promenade, and Vale Park, with its version of fairyland.
This will be a fine weather trip and cancelled if the weather is poor.
There are a few places available on the Let’s Go Adventure Golf Trip. Please book on Beacon if you would like to go
